THE CONVERGENCE OF RELIGION AND ETHICS IN MODERN CIVILIZATIONAL THOUGHT
Keywords:

The interrelationship between religion and ethics has significantly influenced the development and progression of civilizations. In contemporary discourse, the convergence of these two domains continues to shape cultural norms, legal systems, and philosophical thought. This paper explores the dynamic interplay between religious doctrine and ethical reasoning across various civilizations, highlighting how moral values grounded in religious beliefs have served as cornerstones for social harmony, justice, and governance. Additionally, the study examines secular reinterpretations of ethics and their compatibility with spiritual traditions in modern pluralistic societies. Through comparative analysis, the paper underscores that while ethical frameworks may evolve, their foundations in religious worldviews remain instrumental in guiding civilizational conduct.
