Keywords:

The evolution of human civilizations has been profoundly shaped by the interplay of theology and ethics. As foundational systems of thought, both theology and ethics have significantly influenced social, cultural, and political dynamics, often guiding the trajectory of societal development. This paper explores the interrelationship between theology, ethics, and civilizational progress, with a focus on how religious doctrines and moral principles intertwine to shape societal norms, governance structures, and cultural advancements. The study examines the philosophical foundations of both theology and ethics and their role in promoting justice, equality, and sustainable development within civilizations. Through historical and contemporary perspectives, the paper also assesses how ethical and theological frameworks provide the moral compass for addressing modern challenges such as human rights, environmental sustainability, and global cooperation.
