The modern world, while more connected than ever before, continues to grapple with deep civilizational divides rooted in religious misunderstanding, historical conflicts, and cultural misrepresentations. This article explores the transformative potential of interreligious dialogue in fostering mutual respect, healing socio-political fractures, and promoting peaceful coexistence between diverse faith traditions. By examining successful case studies, theological frameworks, and global initiatives, this study argues that genuine dialogue grounded in empathy and reciprocity can serve as a powerful mechanism for civilizational reconciliation. The research also highlights challenges such as power imbalances, politicization of religion, and superficial engagements, offering practical recommendations for making interfaith dialogues more impactful in conflict-prone contexts.
