Abstract

This article explores the pivotal role of interfaith dialogue in fostering civilizational harmony throughout history and in the contemporary global landscape. Drawing from Islamic, Christian, Jewish, and Eastern philosophical traditions, it examines case studies from medieval Andalusia, Mughal India, and Ottoman coexistence, while analyzing present-day interfaith efforts in Pakistan, the Middle East, and the West. The study outlines how interfaith dialogue contributes to peace-building, mutual respect, and the prevention of religious extremism. Furthermore, it evaluates contemporary challenges, such as politicization of religion and digital misinformation, and proposes future frameworks for sustainable interreligious engagement in an era of rising identity conflicts..
