Abstract

This article explores the profound influence of theological philosophy on shaping civilizational perceptions of human nature. Rooted in both metaphysical speculation and religious doctrine, theological philosophy has historically provided frameworks for understanding human purpose, morality, and social order. The study delves into the contributions of major theological traditions—Islamic, Christian, and Hindu—examining their ontological, ethical, and epistemological interpretations of human nature. The role of these perspectives in guiding civilizational values such as justice, dignity, and community is critically analyzed. Furthermore, the article investigates how theological conceptions of human nature have adapted in the face of modern scientific and secular worldviews. Ultimately, it demonstrates that theological philosophy remains an essential dimension in understanding the historical and moral architecture of civilizations.
